PT Arsy Buana Travelindo Tbk (“Company”) ticker code “HAJJ”, a Hajj and umrah travel facilitator company in Indonesia, held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Thursday, June 27, 2024. During the meeting, the Company conveyed various positive achievements during 2023 and the first quarter of 2024 and appointed a new Independent Commissioner.
In 2023, the Company recorded a 57.62% increase in revenue to Rp 318.19 billion compared to the previous year. Net profit also increased by 94.30% to Rp 4.83 billion. Another important achievement in 2023 was the establishment of a subsidiary in Saudi Arabia with the aim of expanding service coverage and improving the quality of service to pilgrims.
During the first quarter of 2024, the Company recorded revenue of Rp
306.06 billion, an increase of 190% from the same period last year. Net income
also experienced a significant increase of 150%, reaching Rp 9.90 billion. This
achievement was mainly driven by an increase in hotel room management which
recorded revenue of Rp 274.78 billion.
The worship travel industry to Saudi Arabia is showing very positive
conditions, as seen from the surge in the number of Umrah pilgrims during the
month of Ramadan and the Hajj season. This has a direct impact on the
Company’s financial performance which continues to show growth. The Company’s participation in the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum in Medina in April
2024 and the increase in hotel room management reflect the Company’s effort to
strengthen services to pilgrims.

Based on the recommendation of PT Madinah Iman Wisata as the controlling shareholder and the nomination and remuneration committee of the Company, it was agreed to respectfully dismiss Mr. Andi Sudhana, SE Ak. from
his position as Lalamentik as the new Independent Commissioner.
Mr. Sammy T.S. Lalamentik, an Indonesian citizen aged 61, domiciled in Jakarta, has extensive experience in finance and Audit. He retired from OJK in 2020 and currently also serves as the Chairman of Commissioner and Audit Committee in several companies. These appointments are expected to bring new perspectives and positive contributions to the Company.
